2008 Simulated Emergency Test (SET)

Here is an audio recording of the ARES Net held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2008. This special net was part of an exercise for the annual Simulated Emergency Test (SET). It was held on 146.520 MHz simplex, as the exercise scenario was simulating a widespread, 24-hour power outage with all of the local repeaters out of service.
