TCARES Plans, SOPs, and Guidelines

To accomplish its mission, Tippecanoe County ARES has developed a series of guideline documents.  Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) outline operational procedures, activation conditions, resources needed, frequencies used, type of information communicated, and when to deactivate.  Specific procedures for working with particular served agencies are detailed in Operations Plans (OP PLAN).  These documents are not a substitute for formal training or additional information that may be communicated on a "per incident" basis.  This information may be superseded by local emergency officials.

A zip file of all the current TCARES plans can be
downloaded here.  (Updated 08 APR 2010)

Other ARES groups are welcome to use these documents as models for developing their own operating guidelines and support plans.
