It is written in Python using GTK to run on multiple platforms. It is a very popular and capable D-STAR data program.

d*Chat is a Windows based keyboard to keyboard communication application that uses the D-STAR "DV" data capability. d*Chat is used to enable text-based communication between multiple stations on a simplex frequency or through a repeater.
D-StarLet
A web-based text messaging application using D-STAR digital data technology. This has some serious potential in the ARES world. It is very easy to implement, and allows served agencies to send, receive, and manage their own messages with their own computers, using the low-speed data port of the D-STAR system as the medium.
